Something else, however, took place after he had talked to his dad. His dad smiled at Lawrence and mentioned the following: "son, it took me until I was fifty years old to realize what you just told me. I am really proud of you." In all honesty, if Lawrence is manifesting any alcohol signs that point to alcohol abuse or alcohol addiction, he will probably need alcohol counseling.

In truth, Lawrence may be required by the court to get treatment for his abusive and hazardous drinking. The good news, conversely, is that whatever it takes to deal with his abusive and hazardous drinking, it appears that Lawrence will be highly motivated to do the "right" thing.
